Rita Hanch (Tonya Harding)
Rita Hanch is delighted to be joining this incredible cast as Tonya Harding! Just like Tonya in the 90s, she is a busy woman! She fills her time as an improviser at The Bird Comedy Theater, member of the local band Rude Cousin, and a marketer for KC's favorite theme park! Also, if you see her rolling down the streets in skates...YUP YOU DID! She wants to thank Nan for inviting her to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure and can't wait to collaborate more with her fav riot grrrl + role model. She would also like to shout out her housemates Reuben, Anna, Wonton, Louise, and Blue. She deeply appreciates those guys <3
Kacy Barta (Oksana Baiul)
Kacy is an actress, improviser, writer, and a co-creater of the local sketch group, Truck Noises. Kacy got her BFA at UCM and is so proud to portray Oksana Baiul! Although Oksana doesn't have a mom, Kacy does. "I'd like to dedicate this performance to my mom who taught me all about Tonya and Nancy’s story.” Kacy is so happy to have spent this time with this dynamite cast. “I’m so freaking thankful!”
Annie Lemmon (MG - Oksana Baiul's dead "mother ghost")
Annie Lemmon has a BFA in Theatre and Communications from Emporia State University where she was a founding member of the Pantomime and Non-traditional Theatre Society (PANTS). PANTS has since expanded to include a reimagining of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind’s 30 Plays in 60 Minutes or Less in Lawrence, Wichita, and KC. Annie was a part of several productions at the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre before ultimately finding her passion in social work. Annie is now a licensed clinical social worker working with geriatric veterans and loving every minute of it .
Danielle Anderson (Lavona Golden, Verne Lundquist)
Danielle Anderson is a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and comedic performer who works under the stage name, Danielle Ate the Sandwich. A self taught performer and musician, Danielle has been growing her professional music and arts career since 2009. Danielle’s one woman show, The Greatest Garage Sale Ever, featuring original songs and characters won “Best Of Venue” at KC Fringe 2024 and will show at Denver Fringe in 2025. Danielle hosts The 24 Hour Album, an annual community songwriting experiment, and “Life As a Songwriter” an intimate 4-week course to share her love of writing songs with others. Her most recent work, Fumbling, is an album of original folk songs that incorporates Kansas City based musicians and artists, and received an Inspiration Grant from ArtsKC. Her songs and performances are a shared experience, celebrating grief, humor and happiness. Danielle has collaborated with Nan Turner for several comedy, improv, and music shows, and is honored to witness the hard work and vision involved in bringing Sequins Before Noon to life!
Irene Manning (Linda Carroll, Jan Hoffmann)
Irene Manning is an actor, improviser, singer, and (as of tonight, thanks to Nan) a dancer. She teaches improv and regularly performs comedy at the Bird Comedy Theater in the Crossroads. Irene is a mom to a 3-year-old, Lucy, and a daughter to a 68-year-old, Mimi (who is a way better mother than the moms depicted in this play. Love you, Mom!) Her annual comedic variety show “Mommy Issues” takes place the night before Mothers Day each year, and explores some of the same themes as “Sequins Before Noon”. Look out for her in the wonderfully bonkers play: “Swap Meet Synchronicity” this summer at the KC Fringe Festival.
Geneva Copeland (Galina Zmievskaya, Billy Corgan, Stanley Tucci)
Geneva Copeland is a multi-instrumentalist, actor, and comedian thrilled to bring a trio of delightfully unexpected roles to life. Although a classically trained vocalist with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance, she has a background in strings music as a cellist and is currently studying jazz violin. Geneva is co-writing an original comedic musical with her husband and comedy partner, and is also developing a horror-comedy play of her very own that remains mysteriously untitled—for now. This performance is a joyful blend of all her creative passions, and she’s grateful to be part of this wild, wonderful production. Endless thanks to Nan Turner for the brilliant vision, inspiration, and opportunity to play in such a unique and hilarious world.
Meghan LeVota (Brenda Kerrigan)
Meghan LeVota is a musician, improviser, multimedia storyteller, and a multi passionate creative at her core. A lifelong theatre kid, it has been a dream to play a role in an indie production with friends as an adult — Sequins Before Noon is literally that dream come true. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented cast, and to work with an icon like Nan Turner herself.
Meghan sings in the Kansas City Symphony Chorus and performs improv comedy at The Bird Comedy Theatre. With a background in digital journalism and organizational development, she is also a digital strategy consultant — helping brands stay human in the age of AI. Her entrepreneurial spirit and quest for self-discovery has led her to develop her own online audience on YouTube and has a passion for helping others do the same. When she is not busy building her business and collaborating on creative projects with friends, she is a mom to her diva dog Dory. She is currently fascinated by zines, junk journaling, music production, songwriting, the future of work, alchemy, sociology, cultural transformation, and all things creative expression. Meghan hopes to live her life as a renaissance woman and community builder, dreaming of a world where every human has the spotlight. Instagram: @meghamuse

She’s a self-identified renaissance woman, capable of your most dire creative needs from unclogging toilets to clogging on the dance floor. Jeramy Zimmerman (Evy Scotvold, dancer)
Jeramy Zimmerman is a dance artist based in Kansas City. Her work has been performed on stages and in non-traditional spaces in many places. In NYC, she founded and directed FLICfest, in which she produced feature-length work of more than 45 emerging and mid-career choreographers; as well as 60X60DANCE, a festival of one-minute works, which included hundreds of NYC dancers. In DC, she founded CatScratch Theatre, which she continues to use as an umbrella for her work. She also worked with the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange and Art-O-Matic, where she helped form a multi-disciplinary, non-juried art show that included more than 700 visual artists, 40 performance groups and 70 bands. Her zeitgeist moment was as a reperformer in The Artist is Present, MoMA’s epic retrospective of the work of Marina Abramovitz. A native of Kansas City, Jeramy earned her B.F.A. at Stephens College and her M.F.A. at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2016, Jeramy returned to KC, where she makes dances and builds community. She is Artistic Director of Take the Stage, is a former Charlotte Street Foundation Resident Artist, and currently produces Making Moves: The Festival. She has known Nan since the 90’s and is so very excited to be part of this show coming to life!
Kathleen Flaccomio (Courtney Love, dancer)
Kathleen Flaccomio is a professional ballet dancer, arts educator, choreographer, musician, and actor—proudly wearing many hats! A native Long Islander, Kathleen moved to Kansas City in August 2023 to join Störling Dance Theater. She spends her days living her dream dancing professionally, and her evenings choreographing for and educating the next generation of artists as a faculty member for the Schools of Dance and Theater at Culture House School for the Arts. While pointe shoes are her home, Kathleen’s training spans multiple dance genres, and she now finds great fulfillment in exploring improvisational work in collaboration with other movement artists and musicians. (Among other exciting projects, you can find her performing improvised movement scores and solos with her friends Teri Quinn and the Coyotes)! Oh— can’t forget that she’s also a classically trained mezzo-soprano, and after several years, is thrilled to be performing in a musical again! Thank you to Nan for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful escapade, and to Courtney Love for reminding me that being loud isn’t something to be ashamed of. Most of all, my deepest gratitude is to Laura, Erin, and Steve; as our show explores complex family dynamics, I’ve grown increasingly thankful for the beautiful family you’ve chosen to gift me with, and I am the luckiest to cheer and be cheered for by you. (Seriously! Thanks for not yelling “booooo!”)

In 2024, she co-founded the local performance ensemble Flux & Pointe with singer Kelley Gant. As a company, they perform new works of music and contemporary ballet that prioritize improvisation in the creative process and performance.
Bella Cordero (police person, dancer)

Assisting in the production of Nan’s vision has been the most fun project to be a part of! This cast and crew have all filled in for each other, and so many new friendships were formed thanks to Nan!
Tracy Flowers (dancer)
Tracy has been performing and wearing sequins in the local dance group, Nan and the One Night Stands, for many years. She also sings with the Kansas City power-pop band Deco Auto. As a child she studied at the Miller School of Dance in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. She is very excited to be a part of the full production of Sequins Before Noon. Tracy appreciates the talented folks that are making this dream a reality and for Nan for coming up with another wild idea.
